The 1st Annual Woodland Faire:
A Carnival Fundraiser for Camano Forest School
Who: The Woodland Faire is a fundraiser for Camano Forest School. We are a non-profit outdoor, nature-based school serving the Stanwood/Camano area. We offer year-round programming for preschool and school-age children
What: Our fundraiser is designed for families and children ages 3-11. Play free lawn games, make crafts, shop locally-made goodies at our bake and craft sale, enter our raffle and enjoy live music from local bluegrass group, Band of Friends
As our mini faire is inspired by traditional renaissance festivals, we encourage visitors to wear woodland and fantasy-inspired costumes (think fairy wings, flower hats, capes and animal (or elf) ears).
Where: The courtyard at Camano Commons/Terry’s Corner. 848 N Sunrise Blvd. Camano Island, WA.
When: Saturday August 8th, 2026 from 11am to 2pm.
Why: Our goal for this fundraiser is to provide a fun and engaging community event while raising funds that support the operation of our year-round outdoor school programming. We will also have an information booth to help the public learn more about what we do at Camano Forest School!
Donate: Can’t make it to the event but want to support our organization? Donate here.
Camano Forest School’s mission is to nurture the essential connection between nature and child. In doing so, we aim to raise children who are resilient, confident, creative and stewards of their community and the environment. We believe that providing children with a safe foundation to explore, discover and learn freely is essential to this development. Through our outdoor education programs, we strive to provide families in the Camano/Stanwood community with access to immersive play-and-place based learning.
